One of the few producers making a 80% Aglianico and 20% Piedirosso blend of Falerno, in true Roman Falerno tradition. Already then, 2000 years ago wines from this area had the reputation of being the most age worthy wines of entire empire. Nowadays farmed according to organic standards healthy fruit is produced here with the help of three generation working the small home plot of Masseria Felicia not far away from Sessa Arunca.

Undeniable notes of smoky soil and intense violet blossoms greet the nose. The soil is so present in this wine that everything else seems to take second place. However in 2003 not only an important level of maturation was achieved, but also a new cellar inaugurated that allowed Mr. Brini to use a high quality aging process, resulting in finer tannin management and an overall greater balance. Bravo!
